Cap FPS to 30

Hey! Me and my 7 years old nephew are really enjoying this source port and don't ask why I let a kid play Duke, it's my godfather's fault (his dad) and my sister (his mom) doesn't give a s**t. Really, it's the best source port I've ever found, for both Duke 3D and Shadow Warrior.
Okay, I started this topic asking if there's any way to lower the frames per second a bit, running the game at 60 is way too faster for this game and it simply doesn't feel as it was intended to run this fast. What I want to do is cap both games at 30 fps, if it's possible. Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance and, again, kudos for doing a great port.

EDuke32 has r_maxfps; you can find it in the console, next to the kitchen sink.
