Hi, I noticed that only the viewport in SWP/Duke3dw/eDuke32 is widescreen. All the rest is stretched and in software mode it doesn't make any effect. In Duke3dw/eDuke32 When any monster is shrinked it grows again with a 4:3 stretched aspect ratio. Is it possible to add full widescreen support for these titles?

Re: True Widescreen?
I will be looking into this in the near future as I have a few ideas. First I need to move all my code across to MinGW/Msys (what a nightmare), then I need to get myself a widescreen monitor for testing. Currently we have just hacked the FOV to accomodate a widescreen but needs improvement.

Your new beta seems to be working well. I think the worst of the current widescreen support is that it's not available for software render.

The widescreen mode in the new eDuke32 seems to be accurate except for weapons. SWP and Duke3dw will look even better with eDuke32's fov.

Lol, until such stage that I get myself a widescreen monitor I'm afraid not much will be done here as I cannot test it. To date I haven't found a reason to own a widescreen monitor for computer work :) One day.... maybe one day :D

I don't think a widescreen monitor is necessary for testing, the graphics will just look thinner on 4:3 screens.
