The SW BUILD system works much better than Duke's. Maybe not simpler, but you can do so much more stuff with it with the tag assignment system.
Maybe there could be a version of Duke that has that system? Or maybe just support for drivable sector groups and room-over-room?

Mr. NotWieder said in the 3dr UBB, that the sw-source wil be relased soon.
I guess it will be the april 1st, just like that of duke3d.

I spoke with JonoF about this a couple of days ago, and right now it's looking like SOS will be supported but no more, as SOS is already pushing it.
I plan on using anything I can find in the SW source that would benfit modders in EDuke32, though, as EDuke32 is already what could be considered JFDuke aimed at modding.

Yeah, FunDuke, That's what I think. April 1st of 2005 will be the 2-year anniversury of the release of the Duke3D source, anyway, and that'll be a good way for 3DRealms to commemorate the Duke3D source release.
