One of the maps that I have been working on on and off for years now at some point became corrupted in an interesting way. The map plays fine but the problem shows up in editing the map. If I alt-select a certain portion of the map a flickering green line will go across the map to the left of the corrupted portion, and if I move the alt-selected portion the green line will increase in size. From what I can tell it is due to a line that only has another line connected to it on one side and the other is in limbo so to speak. I have no idea how this was exactly caused and the build editor doesn't seem to have a way to fix it as the far side of the line can not be selected. I did notice however that if I delete the sector it is causing it it will cause the line to jump around the map, but fixing it that way would obilerate the entire map. I have seen this issue in other maps than just mine so I know it isn't an issolated problem. I can send a sample of the map out if need be as well and any help would be appreciated. - Peter C.

Left CTRL + Left SHIFT + ENTER.
You might also want to check out Mapster32, which comes with EDuke32 -- I have it set up to fix this automatically upon map save.

That seems to have done it. Thanks for the help. Just curious though, where is that keycombo documented at as I was unable to find it in 3dr's buildhlp? - Peter C
