What do you guys think about Xfire, or having it support JFDuke3d? I mean, it obviously won't be able to locate servers and stuff, but it will tell you how long you've been playing.

Well, I like and use Xfire myself.
If you want to have it support JonoF's port, I think your best bet would be to request it at Xfire's forums, and get as many others as possible to agree with you, since more popular games get supported quicker than the obscure ones (if at all).
I have no idea what their policy on ports and the like is, but I suspect chances to get them supported are slimmer.
I also hope JonoF's subsequent updates don't break the potential compatibility often, but I can imagine if it happens more frequently than with "regular games".
It probably can't hurt to start a thread, and see where it leads.
Maybe there's even already one (or more) there.
Tell people about it here, and you should get some more votes in favour.

It would be extremely premature to go doing something like getting support in Xfire for the port because things are nowhere near ready for it. When the port settles down more and things are in a more mature state, it might be worthwhile investigating, but I personally don't think it's worth it at the moment.
