My laptop isn't the best gaming machine so I only play classic games on it like Duke Nukem 3D. Unofrtunately, I can't run the high resolution pack without some stuttering, and I was just wondering if there have been any updates to Duke Nukem 3D that just update the sprites to better looking ones, so I can have a little improvement whilst still playing with enough speed.

3D Sprites?, that's kind of impossible

No, not 3D sprites. Just better looking sprites.

Well, you could make sprites from the existing 3d models which are ugly as hell anyways. I see no other way around it other than drawing your own if you really want decent results.

That's actually a pretty good idea, wish I could do something like that though.
Thanks for your help anyways.

It would be perfect if the original 3D source material still existed, but usually things that old are lost forever... :(
The DN3D models were made by Chuck Jones; there are some renders in the modeller's (Hash) gallery, such as this Alien Queen.
Those models seem pretty high res, so they could simply be rendered from multiple angles again, this time in a higher resolution (perhaps with a posing if that all necessary poses aren't included), and things should look great and as close to the original DN3D as they can.

The best sprites replacement in low-res are voxel models
