I've been looking long and far for a Blood remake with no luck. I've found Transfusion, but for some reason they think everyone wants multiplayer. :?
Does anyone know of a remake of Blood that runs on modern systems that has the single player game?

The thing is that Blood source wasn't released... The source went to ATARI when Monolith dissapeared from the face of the planet... and now there's online petition to force ATARI to release Blood source code... But I've managed to get an OpenGL version made from sctratches few years ago... it was pretty cool, buggy but cool... Cannot find it anymore (possibly it's development was stopped).

Not true! Transfusion will have Singleplayer AND Multiplayer... Check em forums out a bit! All hail Transfusion!!!
Remake of Blood? Nope... Transfusion is the only one I know of... Blood 2 is a continuation and can run on muder systrems but it sucks! Ahhh... I sooo with em source code would be released or someone actally... GLBlood, that would be cooler then anythin'!

Agreed. Blood2 is pure suckage... They've managed to spoil the game from any points of view... And Blood1 is a masterpiece... No words to describe how cool it was/is.

Blood remake?
if your looking for a blood remake then look on 3d realms forums the is one topic where a fellow named iceduke or something is trying to remake blood with jonof's duke 3d port engine go there and download it. But don't get excited it's an alpha version it's not playable all you can do is walk around the levels watching the animation of enemys attacking you so he's still working on it hope this helps :wink:

They're working on the SP component too, they have pretty much all the monsters coded in, they just need finished models and animations.

I have to agree with you -- Blood 2 was a pretty damn fun game, especially with the various mods that let you dismember people, et cetera.

is there any way to just make it work with win xp is there any way to do that ?
i was thinking maybe make a tc with the q3 engine now with the source open and all...
but i hardly get any time over so i think its gonna have to be more than just me if its gonna work... anyone ?
