I found and tried SWP today. (Better late than never) I tried it with my CV63-A.map. Up until now, I had to play it on my win98 laptop or with Dos Box in XP on my desk top. Either way this map is so massive that SW would likely lock up at some time durring play. Today with SWP, try as I could, I could not get it to lock up. :D Great gobs of thanks to those that made SWP happen. I wonder if there is a chance it would not lock up in multiplayer as it ALWAYS has before. I hope to find out some day. If you have tried my earlier versions, CV63beta or CV63 and would like a copy of CV63-A, let me know Dlsaferatjunodotcom. If you had not heard of it, the map is played on a full sized USS Kitty Hawk, CV63. It seems the maximum area of a map, at least in the original SW build, is 1000 feet by 1000 feet by 1000 feet. Since the Kitty Hawk is about 1000 feet long, it barely fits. The map uses level over level, The flight deck and up is one level and below the flight deck the other. I "built" untill I ran out of walls. Basicaly those pesky aliens have taken over the ship and are trying to cloak it with mixed sucess. You must turn off the cloak so that the marines can land in force. Have I noticed any problems with SWP? Only that the killer bees are now silent.
