Yeah, great thing to be the first threader on a Board :P
I try to make Blood work on my PC., but got sound Problems. He babblin of wrong DMA , perhaps it wont work. Now i look for so a little funny helping tool like JonoF's port to run it with blood. Do anybody know something like that? Or even a good looking "do this trick" would help me very well.
P.S: I love my old PC. I love it really.......... :P

This might be helpful: http://www.deathmask.net/buildxp/
I can't personally testify to its accuracy since I run Windows 2000 and still use my old P233MMX to run DOS stuff on. If Atari were nice they'd release the Blood code and I'd port it.

Ah, blood. Never played the original until this week; interesting stuff so far. I recognized the Duke-like engine right away. You know, I've looked everywhere for the midis for the game, but can only find the songs for Episode 1. The reason I wanted them was to improve some of the quality of the songs in an addon my friend made for wolf3d:
I'm guessing tracks 3, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 16 are from the last episodes? If anyone has the midis, that would be greatly appreciated. If not, it's ok, just thought I'd pull up the question. I'm thinking I might just try to look for it on ebay and figure out how to extract them myself if nothing works out (as the game doesn't sell in any stores in my area anymore).

The only MIDI files in Blood are the Episode 1 ones because the shareware version was distributed on BBSs and the net and stuff. The retail version was shipped on CD and uses Red-Book CD Audio for the music. In fact, I think the retail version never had any option in the setup program for a music card either, leaving just CD-A.

Here's a petition to have ATARI release Blood's source code ...haha JF has already signed :D (he was one of the earlier signatures).
