i used to play duke3d ages ago when i was like 14 years old or something... i'm seeing old friends again now with whom we used to just have private lan parties and play duke3d so much so we decided to play again and found this port, it's just brilliant, great work guys, can't wait for the multiplayer support!

In fact, aren't we all just waiting for the multiplayer mode to be finally finished :)

We are all waiting for it but remember that including a multiplayer code in duke nukem game is a real headache. I'm sure it will be the best multiplayer code ever... :)

:? I'm not really sure if it might be so difficult to (re-)implement multimode into jfduke3d because some time ago JonoF's port had multiplayer but always crashed on initializing the game with it... :?: so I told him about that problem and I think it is only currently disabled but will come back when all bugs are solved and everything's performing a little bit better than in the past.

Yeah .. it's possible to play multiplayer on the port cuz me and my cousin played it mano-to-mano & co-op at his place not to long ago. I'm not sure how he managed to get it to work ( he's into the coding stuff so ... ) but it worked on windows 2000 and XP !
Duke multiplayer Rocks !!! :D

Were you using an older version of the port? Multiplayer wasn't disabled on the older versions. :)
I'm also patiently waiting for the multiplayer. Should be great.

He would deffently had to be using an older version. Or he was using the rancid meat one with out his knowledge. Im testing multiplayer levels for my mod with my brother in the RM port and he doesnt even know what a port for duke means.

FYI, the icculus port also works in conjunction with the rancid meat port.
thus my linux icculus build was able to play over the network with my friend using duke3d_w32 from rm! kinda nice...

It would be nice to play duke in multiplayer again! (I don't use the DOS-version any more)
