First, Jonof thanks so much for all of your hard work on the SW & D3D projects. Great job and I'm happy to finally be playing these titles again!
The bug:
In the first level of the shareware episode there is a "hall of mirrors" effect at the window where the yellow R/C car control window is to obtain the silver key. I have this same glitch on two different PC's with the main difference being in graphics cards. One machine has an ATI 9800 pro (home) & the other has an Nvidia Quadro4 750 XGL (work).

Switch your graphics mode to 8bpp, that will fix the issue for the time being.
