This is driving me nuts... I compiled the source code in linux and everything except for the music is working great. I've applied the sound patch to get the sound working (and it does). I've also configured timidity++ properly (I actually got pmidi to play one of the midi files in the goodies folder on the CD!). I'm not getting any errors in the log file (I've attached it and DUKE3D.CFG for reference). It doesn't seem to matter whether the CD is in or not. Any help in the matter is greatly appreciated.

Sound Blaster Audigy
Ubuntu Linux (5.04)
JFDuke3D - 20050531 build
Duke3d v1.3D
I haven't done CD playback for SDL yet. Next release.

I don't think you need the cd for the music in duke3d. If I recall correctly, the only thing you needed the cd for was for playing those little movies at the end of each episode.
