I have a few quick questions. First. jfDuke has an option to select and play user maps, but is there any other way to play SW user maps other then renaming them to match the menu? Or if not, is this a feature that my be implemented in future versions?
Also jfDuke is compatable with alot of TCs and Addons. or at least then are easily converted useing GFS (group file studio), but though the SW GRP file will open with GFS, it gives me an error message when I try to open the GRP files for addons like TAI WANG and LO WANG IN TIME. Any help in this area will also be greatly apprecieted.
Thirdly, concerning placing actors in SWbuild, how do you determine which actor will spawn for each difficulty level. In the editor (2D) the default tag for the ripper, for instance, reads 5:2,ripper. 2 denotes that that actor will only spawn at the 3rd difficulty level and higher, which is strange because 2 seems to be the default and I can't figure out how to change the 2 to a 0 so the actor will spawn at all difficulty levels. I've checked thru all 15 standard tags and the 11 boolean tags as well as read Jonah Bishop's "The Map Editing FAQ for Shadow Warrior - Version 1.5" and cannot figure it out.
Aside from all that, I just wanted to say a big thanx to JF for his great ports! Absolutely awesome!!! 8) :?: :?:

not sure about the other 2 questions, but you can play user maps by starting jfsw from the commandline with the -map option ("sw -map somemap.map"). this works for duke too.

I read the release notes but that piece of info must have slipped by. I am planning on using the new Customisation File Format eventually but the user map option in the jfDuke main menu is really handy, espically for newbies.
Thanx for the input though. I am looking forward to a possable upsurge in interest in SW mapping now that the port is being developed. The SW version of build has a lot of great features and I hope this will pave he way for future developments. Now if we can just get the SCodes for BLOOD and REDNECK RAMPAGE....................
Thanx again for the input, Mephisto!
ADDENDUM: I found the answer to my tagging question. pressing ' and k together while targeting sprite in 2D will shift the difficulty rating. I still want to know how I can effectivly modify the current SW addons and TCs to work on jfSW.
