Hi all. I've just recently build a PC, my first since the late 90s when I moved exclusively to Macintosh. Anywho I've got this new PC here and I've been playing tons of Doom. Then I remember Duke Nukem 3D and thought I'd check out the source ports. This (and EDuke32, the fork) look great (although I think there isn't much choice in the matter hehe ) but I have some questions.
- How (or when?) am I able to choose a custom resolution? I'm using a 20" LCD at 1680x1050. Anything above 1024x768 through the GUI launcher causes everything to be zoomed in. And when I manually put my width and heigh into the config all I can see is Duke's hands and the status bar while the rest of the screen is HOM'd.
- Your Build port is capable of FOV or aspect settings right? Think I read its capable but not coded into the Duke port yet.
- Is there a mouse smoothing setting? When I turn down sensitivity it feels less jumpy. Almost like Vsync isn't work but I think its just the mousing sans smoothing.
My PC: Athlon X2 +3800, 1 GB RAM, EVGA 7800GTX KO, with Windows XP SP2, the latest version of your port (also tried on EDuke32) and the shareware of Duke Nukem 3D.
