Is there anyone who got SW peer-to-peer multiplayer running with a router? Me and a friend of mine tried very hard but it didn't work! We both forwarded port 23513 in our router setup. We also both forwarded port 7777 (Unreal server port) to test; and indeed; we both could make an Unreal server where the other could join.
But sw didn't work.
One(A) uses this command line:
sw /net /n1 B's_external_ip
The other(B):
se /net A's_external_ip /n1
A always gets: Lo Wang is Waiting for other players, they are afraid!
B always stays in the GUI and gets: Waiting for other players...
Maybe it's a problem that SW recognizes the local IP(and not the external IP) as the own IP., the GUI says:
mmulti: This machine's IP is 192.168.123.139
mmulti: Player 0 at ...... (<-external ip of opponent, i removed it)
mmulti: Peer-to-peer mode
Waiting for players...
Can someone help, or do we have to wait for master slave? (direct connection would bhe very unpractical)

Re: yeah
It worked for me, I'm behind a modem/router and with the port 23513 UDP forwarded I hosted the server for a 2 player game... don't know what could be your problem :?:

multiplayer with router
Maybe they only forwarded TCP ports, you need to forward UDP ones according to the guy who posted above me.

It works now, my friend has a new modem/router, and i used the DMZ setting of my router!
