Problems with mouse
- Hi. I downloaded JFDuke3D, and it works good, but I have no mouse there! Not only strafe, I even can't shoot! Where's the mistake? My Mouse is plugged by USB.
- There's no problem there! :) It caused because I downloaded only update, not the full version. But there's another problem: when I try to use 16 or 32-bit graphics, game hangs up.
- Do your PC has a 3D accelerator card?
If not, that's the problem, you need a 3D card to use 'POLYMOST'... - My graphics is SiS 650.
I've solved this problem typing "glusecds 1" command in the console. glusecds <0 or 1>
You're right! :D
Enables the use of the ChangeDisplaySettings() Windows function to switch the current screen mode. Some video cards require this be set in order for OpenGL to work properly. Intel and Matrox users are in this category.
Well, glad it works now. But do you experience jerky movements or something like that?My mouse is okay, but 'mouse aiming' option is grayed out :(
I couldn't use mouse movement to look up or down, only on the X axis to move the view angle!
I've searched for other options, even in Jonof Duke3d configuration file. 'Mouse aiming' were 0. putting 1 didn't solve. :x
I use an optical PS2 mouse. Everything is okay in windows and other games, including the whell.Problems with mouse
Did you try to configure the mouse at the setup options?
Not inside game... at SETUP.EXEYes I did
Setup32.exe (I've renamed it). Anyway, evne with 'momentary' mouse aiming activated, and 'Keyboard and mouse' settings, in-game option for mouse aiming is still 'blued out' :shock:Mouse Aiming (Halflife controls)
Make sure you have the option Keyboard/Mouse selected in Setup.exe under Input Devices. Also while your @ the Input Devices screen click the Advanced button. The X-Axis should be at 1.0 and the Y-Axis should be at -1.0 and the radio button Toggle.
This is a link to my personal duke3d.cfg file
http://home.comcast.net/~phearchyld/duke3d.cfg
You can click to view the file or you can right click and select Save As, then you just save it to your Duke driectory. Hope this helps.
Phear ChyldWow!
Thanks!!! :)
I was only confused about 'toggle' and 'momentary'... If momentary is chosen, mouse aiming will be disabled!! :?
It's working 100%! :D
