Very dark game with 32bit polymost

  I'm running on Windows 2000 with a Kyro2 video card.
  
  I have the Atomic Edition. I am running 800x600 windowed. Whenever I go to 32bit polymost mode, the game is very dark (firing my gun will light it up) but my HUD and gun are visible fine. Only the game window is very dark.
  
  Is there a fix for this? Thank you.

  First thing you should try is updating your video drivers.

  Yes, replace the Kyro video card.
  
  Seriously though polymost does not seem to work well on Kyro cards.

  Yes, replace the Kyro video card.
  
  Seriously though polymost does not seem to work well on Kyro cards.

  Polymost fails rather spectacularly on 3dfx and SiS hardware as well.

  And no, we don't know why exactly 3dfx, SiS, and now Kyro cards have problems, suffice to say it's a fog issue that affects all three types, and an additional texturing problem on the HUD with 3dfxs.

  I used a batch file to turn off the fog, then run the game, but have lost it.
  
  I know it used the SET command but that was all
  
  Tried looking for the command again but no luck :cry:
  
  Hope this can be solved eventually.

  Yes, I have this problem with polymost on my laptop which has a crappy built-in SiS card, but removing the fog only resulted in the game to randomly crash in some places.
