Hello, I'm new here..
First of all, I'm sorry if I should have rather posted this into the Bugs section.. I am just not quite sure if this is bad enough to post it there.. I hope you understand.
After updating JFDN3D and SW to 20051009 version, I've noticed a few bugs in Build editor for both of them, which I have not encountered in the previous versions. First of all - the masked walls are no longer shown when the cursor is moved over to the sector boundary line (red) and 'M' is pressed. However, if the sectors have different floor/ceiling heights, the wall is displayed. I hope you understand what I mean, but to make sure, I've included a few screenshots..
Another bug is adjusting floor atributes in 3D mode. Once you're at a certain distance from the sector, pointing at the sector floor and pressing 'PgUp'/'PgDn' only adjusts the ceiling height as if you're pointing at the walls. It appears to be rather even dependant on the cursor 'distance', since if you point at the far corner of the sector, it will do nothing, but if you move closer to its boundary, the floor height adjustment returns. Just the same goes for floor texture scaling ('E') and other operations.
Here goes the screenshots..
Floor atributes http://3.ceti.peterhost.ru/temps/bugs/bug1.jpg Cursor is at the far corner of the sector. Trying to change floor height changes the ceiling's instead.
http://3.ceti.peterhost.ru/temps/bugs/bug2.jpg Now the cursor is moved closer to the camera. Floor height adjustment returns.
Masked walls: http://3.ceti.peterhost.ru/temps/bugs/bug3.jpg Normally, if you'd pressed 'M' whilst poiting at the floor, it would show the masked wall inbetween the sectors. But it does nothing.
http://3.ceti.peterhost.ru/temps/bugs/bug4.jpg Now the floor of the second sector has been raised. The cursor is returned to the first sector and 'M' is pressed again. Everything works.
