building a gui for Kextract and Kgroup
- hi all,
for those interested, I'm trying to throw together a "windows" version of the Kextract and Kgroup tools (as in "not using the commandline")
I'm trying to make it a bit like winzip, but are there any other functions you would like to see in the program, and would you consider using it?
thanks for the input :)

ps: for those interested, here you can find a version of kextract that will compile under ms visual c++ 6.0 (probably other versions also) - There are many GUI GRP file managers nowadays. I suggest You to try all of them and make Yours as powerful and user friendly as possible, combining all useful features found in other GRP managers. The best GRP/ART manager for me was GRP Studio. But it's quite obsolete. When jfDuke appeared I decided to resurrect my own GRP manager called GRPViewer adding features related to jfDuke only... Like managing Hi-Res textures, models and (implementing right now) SkyBox management. There's also a weird and slow MAP preview in 2D mode... I don't like the way I did GRP packing/unpacking thing in my GRPViwer... If You are going to make Yours flexible and easy-to-install You should continue with it.
