You should complete the timeline. Engine improvement continued long after 1996: in 1999, Ken started modifying obsolete Build engine code into what is now called the Voxlap engine. In 2012, Ken started modifying his Voxlap code, adding realtime volume pathtracing, supersmooth splatting transformations, streaming and his ultra small .kv7 format :P
