I'm just curious to see what the KenBuild game looked like in 1994 (early, mid and late) and 1995.

You got it: http://advsys.net/ken/build.htm#builhist Notice the new entry at 04/07/1994 This is the oldest Build archive I can find with the sample game. I included the editors and game code just for fun. At first glance, it looks a lot like the final version. After trying things, and studying the Build history, will you discover that it's actually missing a lot. Oh, and do not hesitate to run it in DosBox if you wish to hear my cheesy elevator music : )

No, of course not. It was my lame attempt at humor at the age of 20.

Yup. I had voxel terrain in Build long before voxel sprites. Unfortunately, they were not rendering fast enough, and I could never find that rare divide overflow that they were causing. When I wrote the slope code in 1995, I redefined the "heinum" fields of the sector structure to be used for slopes instead. Nobody complained. : )
